In a perfect world, LSU could go ahead and hire the new HC as coach in waiting and let Miles make one last run next year. I'd like to see him make a goodbye tour since so many other SEC fan bases like and respect him. I'd be for it as long as he understood there would be no tampering with the new OC/Future HC

What world do you live in? Why do you think the other SEC schools want him around for another year? Did you not see that fiasco yesterday?

Nice story, and would love Les to have the opportunity to see LF finish his career at LSU, but can you really see somebody like Jimbo "in waiting"

It would get awkward really fast. This would only work for a lesser know name. So keep that in mind.

Wtf? LSU can't just forfeit a season for Miles. His "respect" came in the form of $$$, and his buyout is much larger than most. There's the fricking respect. By no means should LSU just go through the motions for a year and a half to make Les feel "respected" by other fan bases. You know he's not the first national championship coach to get fired in the SEC, right?

Nor is he the first national championship coach to get fired.

What a stupid idiotic fricking idea. It's people like you and your feel good mentality that has caused this program to decline to the state that it's in right now.
