I don't see our recruiting class changing much.
We probably lose Franks but why would others leave? Why would the defensive recruits leave? They have to be ready to play because all spots should be open for competition. They'll get plenty of play time.
Outside of Franks we have some WRs and a TE and some OL, don't see any of these guys leaving either. I'm 100% positive we are getting a new OC and 75%, a new HC. As long as we make a non shite hire/s, we should retain everybody but Feleipe.

When Alleva replied with no comments when asked last night, it was pretty clear to me it was all but over for Miles.
It will all come down to who the next head coach will be, and how much of. The current staff remains.
Recruits don't just look at the here and now. Miles being on the hot seat now means he is on the hot seat for the next 2 years. Recruits look at longevity too.

Move cameron to the quaterback coach and find the best OC in the country & best head coach in the country available or not money talks & Lsu has plenty.. then we'll keep everyone and pull major surprises.. the recruits will see our immediate urge for change and we're good! First step beat a&m... then the firing has to happen asap!

Every head coach is going to want his choice of assistants. He would probably keep some of the current staff if available, but whoever comes in would not just keep the staff intact.

Raymond? Have you seen our dbs this year?

I think it's almost vital that we keep Ed O and Wilson regardless of whose here. Both with a proven track record that any new coach would want whether its Jimbo or freakin Vince Lombardi.
Corey Raymond is on the hot seat too you would think with the way the play in DB has almost dropped off. We'll see.

Les Miles signed 13 coming into his first year when Saban left. Some stayed onboard and others he went out to recruit.
So sure we'll be able to keep the 3 stars and some 4's and maybe get 1 five. If it is a coach the players would be unfamiliar with.
The LSU admin doesn't have to listen to any of us. However, it is my hope they make the big move to retain the class and add a since of stability for the near future. I hope Jimbo is sincerely interested in coming here as rumors might suggest. That could save this entire class. Many of the top guys we're trying to sign would be willing to listen to ex-HC from FSU.

You need to keep all three...regardless to whoever the HC will be...Regarding Raymond, this has not been a good year for DBs...I would attribute that more to adjusting to Steele's scheme..He's suddenly not a good position coach

Bring back Ron Cooper for the DB position.

It is my understanding Ron Cooper did not recruit...in the Louisiana area, you need to build relationships with H.S coaches and families

You might be right too LSUTool
Price you pay tho when you have to hire a new HC.It is what it is.

Hate to lose Franks. We need a stud QB

His db's are getting steeled.

Raymond is one of the best DB coaches in the country. New schemes are the prob.

You know that isn't on Raymond. That almost same squad was ranked #3 in the country last were with no pass rush.

Db's haven't been the problem this year. The last 3 games they played pretty good. Alabama and Arkansas were held to less than 200 yards passing and Ole Miss to under 300. A lot of those passing yards were on linebackers not covering the flats. Other than a few busted plays, I think the DB's have played pretty good this year.

Coaches typically want their own staff. But any coach coming to LSU would be dumb not to have O and Wilson. I'm not familiar with the FSU staff as far as RB and DL coaches go, but I know Tim Brewster is his recruiting coordinator and TEs coach and he's a great recruiter. Get those 3 guys on the same staff and OMG.

That's something the fan base would have to come to terms with. If Miles leaves, we likely lose Frank, O, and Raymond. Very rarely are coaches retained when the head coach leaves. We kept Jimbo when Saban left, but that usually doesn't happen.

There are only a couple of coaches who would be allowed to come in and not be asked to hold on to Frank and O...These guys are known for their incredible work around the country...anyone else you bring in would be a significant drop off...The competitive edge LSU has is a strong recruiting base that it doesn't have to share with another in state power five team...the entire SEC west and add Florida would pillage our state's talent
