from reading this thread it seems the majority of posters in this thread think Chavez was a better DC than Steele? or is it just that we could have done better than Steele in ya'lls opinion? Or can everyone agree that Chavez was a terrible recruiter who left the cupboard bare for the next DC whoever it would have been.

I think if LSU had a much better offense, then defensive issues wouldnt be magnified like they are.
Currently they're 28th in Total Defense in the NCAA.
6th in Total Defense in the SEC.
