Those coaches are winning championships left and rt. Isnt that what this is about?

JJ may turn out great, but dont fool yourself, Alleva didnt need to use much negotiation tactics to lure Jones to baton rouge. there was a reason he was at North Texas for so long.

JJ has done fine. He hires good assistant coaches, develops players, and recruits well. It doesn't matter that it was easy to get him here. Will he win a championship here? Who knows, but LSU being relevant every year in basketball is what we need right now.

Well ok, but you can't argue with the results and Joe did try to bring in some bigger name guys and they said thanks but no thanks, we don't want to go coach at a football school that plays in front of a 45% capacity arena on the reg.
