"privilege" only exists due to the issue of egalitarian goals. if one group succeeds and another does not, the only way you can continue the mythology that cultures are equal is by creating a new concept that explains the difference in outcomes. hello, privilege

without this self-hatred, people would celebrate western ideals and celebrate all of the amazing things that have been created from them. that is not acceptable in the face of other cultures who have failed to come close to realizing that same progress in humanity
