Meh, I'm on the fence here. The fight scenes were bad arse but not sure the plot will keep my interest. I'll tune in again next week for another shot.

It looks like it. All of this was filmed around New Orleans

Looks like Evergreen Plantation outside of Lutcher

Yeah I like it a lot. Not sure just how well it will do though.

First episode was pretty badass imo. Wish we would have gotten an hour and a half episode for the series premiere though. It's also a relief to have a tv show not based directly on a book, movie, or comic.

I like it enough to give another couple of episodes. It was entertaining. What day/time will it regularly be on?

Aside from the Baron and his stupid accent, I though there was some interesting characters.
I liked it and will watch again.

No spoilers for original content.
And the writers don't have to worry about following someone else's plotline and keep everything canon to an original source.

I set my DVR to record since i heard from a friend in Gheens that some of it was filmed there. I believe the poppy field motorcycle shots. Used cg to delete the sugar cane.

Finally watched it last night and damn that was better than i expected. Bad accent aside the action was incredible and i really like the martial arts / deep south / distopian society thing they have going. It kept my attention the entire episode.

Gotta love Mad Max with katanas and wire martial arts. Too bad the acting and script are arse.

This show seems to be built around the fight scenes, if you like action you'll like the show, if you're looking for plot, they clearly didn't spend their money on the writing. I don't know why so many people are hating on it, if it's not your cup of tea don't watch, but it seems to be decent at what it's going for.
