Miles currently has buddies on his staff. Idk how good of an idea this would be, TBH. But maybe. Idk.

I don't want him anywhere near the football program once he's gone.

Man, I was about to start this same topic. I believe Miles would make an incredible AD. He has shown support for all athletic programs at LSU during his time as coach. The only question I have is if he's ruthless enough to fire someone when needed. I believe as AD, he could also still help football recruiting. He knows how to lay out the red carpet for top prospects.
I'm sure most fans wouldn't want him as AD though.

Great idea!
He would hire BDP as head coach!
AD is NOT a place for Les, as much as I would like to find soft place for him to land.

CLM would probably promote BDP to head coach if he were the AD... so, no, he can resign anytime he wishes and move into the ole people home.

Great idea!
Let's take a chance on Les as A.D.

Because he's made numerous bad hires. Peveto, Steele and Cameron have all seemingly not worked out. Why would you think he could do better as an AD? Not to mention the man likely doesn't know shite about other sports.
How about we find an AD who has actually been an AD.

He makes suspect hires (Steele, peveto, Cameron, etc) in football, which he knows. Why would you trust hire to make hires in other sports?

I 100 percent agree with everything you said.

So your plan is to take the guy leading the program off a cliff and give him the chance to do it for the entire athletic department?
That is some kinda genius right there.
