Before the season and even early this year people were saying Harris was a Heisman contender and an amazing QB
People thought Harris was going to be at most average. The frick are you talking about?

harris is a fine talent. he is a true soph. you can't win the sec with a true soph. bama has won the last 2 years with a 5th yr. senior.

harris had poor play calling and poor ol play last night BUT he also made several bad plays that are not on the coaching staff. a terrible fumble play, an int. on a corner fade to a 6'3 receiver that was intercepted 4 yards in the endzone, a terrible throw that bounced off dural for a td to dupre, a pass that should have been intercepted that was dropped by a db, a screen pass that hit a dl in the back,

none of these throws are on the coaching staff. there is nothing good about the offense except LF.

the man has no protection. he sure has problems with throwing short passes but throwing him under the bus for the last ttwo weeks is wrong.

NO BLOCKING. NO BLOCKING. NO BLOCKING.

Yes you can. A true fresh, no.. but a sophomore, sure you can.

This is on coaching though.

[quote]It starts with the guy that recruited the best QB in the SEC to be a frickin' fullback, who just happens to be from LA[/quote)

Actually he and Brandon are from High schools in the same district {1-5A} and both were well above average during their HS years. Dak was a BAD miss on the recruiting side of the ball.

This thread is terrible, Harris will come along like many have said before he's a SOPHOMORE 19 year old he will make mistakes. With that being said our offensive line did him zero favors getting pushed around like we're a damn sun belt team.

It all starts with the staff. BH would have been coached up with other staffs. Everyone raves about how good a recruiter CLM is but I guess he just can't get good qbs...or maybe he does but can't develop them.

Good QB. Doesn't fit the scheme.

Harris looks like rs sophomore Jamarcus Russell and Rs Junior Mettenberger. They weren't on fire until their 2nd full year of starting. Harris is a sophomore with 9 starts under his belt. You would think the gameplan would help him out by utilizing a tight end or rb's out of the backfield. Alabama took LSU identity. I don't know what they want to be anymore.
