I used to have one back in high school in Florida for when we ran dogs, and to talk to my buddies when we were trail riding. Wondered if this was still a thing.

Why you assume we all drive trucks

I want to say they ran on what would have been Channel 1 of a TV set.
It would be cool to have one of those. I didn't know they were still around.

Not currently but I did around 1999 as a sr in high school. A few buddies and I thought it was cool to drag all of our dads CB stuff out of the closets and put back into use. There where a few months I had a 102" stainless steel whip on the ole ford ranger.

I had one in my last truck. Really wish I had somewhere to put one in my commuter car. With a CB and waze interstate speed traps were no factor.

In my truck at work, yes. Mainly listen for traffic updates getting into EBR in the mornings, can listen in and find out if there's a backup and can detour to 190/sherwood/highland off the three main interstates.

Off-roaders use them on trails, best way to communicate. Also, it's good to have the weather channels too.

I had that big whip antenna too, but I never did have the tennis ball. Thought that was stupid. My radio would just short out if it hit my cab
