Friend getting divorced has a plan to get his daughter

His wife took their daughter and has not let him have time with her at all. He has to drive 4.5 hrs to see her. She has only agreed to a couple of visits in three months. She is coming to get her things this weekend and she asked a mutual friend to watch the baby because she doesn't want him to see her. He is planning on picking her up from the friend and keeping her. The friend is secretly on his side and has been sending screenshots of txts with his wife. Is there a problem with his plan? Seems legit to me.

Does the mom have custody? If so,
is the worst idea ever.
Oh wait, rebeloke thread. Nevermind. Yeah totally go for it.

Couldn't he just walk across the trailer park?

Divorce proceeding typically have distance provisions in place to prevent shite like this from happening. So, yeah pick up kid...keep her until the courts settle it and make that skank POS mother move closer.

Best choice would be to shoot the ex wife and put her in a meat grinder.
That way he'd have sole custody

If this clown ruins football coverage on Saturday, I'm going to be pissed.

No agreement. She left 3 months ago. Hasn't filed anything. He has a plan filed but not served yet. He is asking for primary custody.

He should wear all black and a ski mask just so he doesn't alarm anyone and to make sure that everyone knows of his harmless intentions..... maybe a water gun spray painted to look real... everyone loves a good joke.

If there is no agreement, he just needs to document all of his attempts to see his daughter and that the wife would not allow. Then when they go to court she will look horrible in the eye of the judge (hopefully) and he will be given custody or more visitation. If he goes and just takes the kid he is gonna look as bad as she does. How old is the kid?

Divorcing parents who do stuff out of spite only harm the kids.... Someone should sit down with both of them and tell them to grow the frick up...
This is why some lawyer friends of mine quit doing divorces... People can really be assholes...

I would really discourage this if true. Although they're not divorced, temporary visitation orders should be in place.
If he wants to make shite incredibly difficult in court down the line, kidnapping claims will do the trick.

Yeah. Cuz that's what's gonna be good for his kid, ripping her away from momma and putting her in the middle of a legal fight that may go criminal. Sure. Do that.
Or, he could act like a man, get a frickin lawyer, and deal with what's happening.
Add to that, and I say this as someone with real experience in these situations, when one parent flees with the child, there is a good chance there is some abuse going on. I don't know your friend or his wife, and it's possible she is just a ruthless beeyotch. It's also possible there are things going on that your friend ain't telling you.

Please wait until after LSU football game. Don't want amber alerts every 5 minutes .

That is a textbook case of kidnapping. Have you ever watched a single Lifetime movie bro?

Did she take the kid across a state line?
