We are coming off our last game where we played in a torrential downpour. This experience will payoff greatly. Our team will be one step ahead and will be able to adjust more quickly. This advantage will make a huge difference in the trenches

I don't think playing Bama in the rain is an advantage. Defense benefits from the slop.

Not sure I agree with you, but dang, 0-8, downvotes in a route? It's not THAT far fetched or asinine.

I think the rain does favor LSU, but not for your reason. More thinking:

1. Crowd not as rowdy.
2. Rain favors the less sophisticated : complex offense. And that's not a Backdoor slam to our coaching. Bama's linebacker said as much in his interview - we're the only team they face that lines up, announces what we're doing, tries to out man them. I think we've got the players and coaches this year - nothing more or less needed - to do that.

Gonna be a great one.

Edit: up voted. Post not deserving of a down vote shut out.

Now you see why no one is talking about it.

For me it's Lewis Neal vs either a RT with a bad ankle or a backup RT.

I really believe the weather will be fine.

Wish all this premature talk would go.

Game is still around 4 hours from now.

Does anyone know if the field is tarp covered until game time? If so, could have a major affect on the game.
