Saban will do everything he can to stop Fournette. I expect LSU will use a ton of qb zone reads tonight. This will open up Harris to gain alot of yards on the ground and keep Bama def guessing all night. We have not used the zone read alot this year, but this is the game it can be very very effective. Harris can keep that def guessing and light it up in the air leaving receivers with single coverage down field.

We won't start the game like this. But if it gets close/behind and running is ineffective. This is likely the game plan.

But as usual LSU football will try and impose their will and run it down your throat.

As the O-line goes Brandon will go, and I have all the faith in the world in that line, so... I've had the pleasure of watching Brandon on Friday nights through his high school career and now watching him on Saturday's and I can tell you we haven't seen all he can do, he's a very special talent. Considering we've seen some (very little) of it, to me they've been setting it up all year, Jennings came out and ran more than ever last year (effectively), and JJ had success with it except for one game in Jan 2012...

... I'm thinking we see some scripted to at least test the waters.

I do think you will see Harris featured more as a running compliment to Fournette today. LSU really has only sprinkled in some run plays this year for Harris, but he is really underrated as a run threat, not sure if opposing fans realize how strong of a runner Harris actually is.

Zone read? I really hope not. Harris is a true soph and he isn't strong enough yet to take the punishment.

We have the best running back in the game to go with the best o-line and several other good rb's backing up Fournette. Let them do the running.
