Give me 1 second and I'll tell you why you're wrong about that.

I'm for Bama's opponent in every game they play, except Ole Miss, then I'm for the meteor.

That doesn't mean they're not the best in the country or the best lsu will face. I'm not certain of anything other than their hype isn't commensurate with their performance

I think they have 1 of the 3 or 4 best college defenses in the country. But, I do not believe there is a marked difference in their defense and Florida's, man-for-man. Where they are better is the LB corps - and that is the nation's best. For my money, Florida's DL is as good and their DBs are better.

So, if we can find a way to contain those linebackers, we've already had success against excellent DBs and DLinemen.

Gonna repost if you lose. Be even better. Or maybe I could be a decent human being and just say good game.

I wouldn't say they are overrated

Not overrated, like in not good. I just meant that Bama fans and media would have you believe that this run defense is impenetrable, and it's not. I have read and heard so many people say that this year's unit is like last year's on steroids, yet the numbers do not bear out that way at all. If anything they are worse because they are giving up just slightly more this year playing against worse rush offenses.

LSU, however, has improved dramatically in rushing. From yards before and after contact, yards per carry, carries per TD, etc. I mean we are #1 in the country in true rushing yards per carry.

Rubbing what, facts? These are statical facts that can not be skewed.

I mean I did something similar in a post prior to facing Florida and it happened just like I thought. Don't get all upset just because you think your defense is the '85 bears reincarnated.

Anything can happen once the game gets going, but this is honest data.

So I'm saying, don't be surprised when LSU runs on Bama like they did on Florida, just realize that it was inevitable.

I smell another wildcat play.

This one gives up 43 points at home

Good lord. One game is not indicative of future games or else the LSU Bama game last year wouldn't have been close based on what your D game up against AU.

Ole Miss won the game. Congrats to them. They got 24 points off of 77 yards of offense.

I would love to see LSU turn the ball over to Bama 4 times inside the 30 tomorrow and see how that game plays out.

So Alabama is what, 2nd in run defense this year? Are they the only team who gets to subtract sack yardage from their run defense numbers? I don't understand this. Plus, your reason for the run defense being overrated is they maul the QB Good work.

The thing is...Bama has not played a run game anywhere comparable to LSU...not even close. LSU has faced a defense at least comparable to Bama in Florida, and they ran it down Floridas throats despite 8 man fronts the whole game. Saban in his arrogance will play 2 safeties back on run defense..and try to stop LF7 with 7 in the box and Fournette is going to go off.

What's that have to do with Alabama's run defense being overrated?

For the life of me, I can't figure out which Bama performance this year is supposed to scare me.

UGA? ATM? Lulz.

They haven't been that impressive. At all.
