Hey guys, I just want to ask if there anybody owning new Tacoma 2016? (link for those who didn't know what it is)
I know nothing about Toyota pickup trucks, is it reliable? Or better choose Ford F-150 or Chevy Colorado?

I own a 2012 Tacoma and tundra, great trucks, and Tacoma will outlast them all but are pricey when loaded up

Only a Picasso retains it's value better than a Tacoma. Damn great trucks.

Haven't had one in a while but a couple of friends drive them currently. I had a 98 TRD 4x4 and sold it in 2001 due to needing room for my squid. Even back then, I sold it to Carmax for 1k less than I paid for it. 34,000 miles. I would give anything to have it sitting right here today. I think you owe yourself a test drive for sure.

It's starting to look like a Euro truck on the outside. Inside is nice though.

Not a fan of any of the wheels in the OP pic honestly. Easy change but still, they should be more attractive.

Wheel design is not the number one feature on utility truck, I think. But it's better than standard Ram rims, in my point.

I saw a quicksand color with black wheels on the lot

I still drive my 04 Taco with under 100K miles. It has been good to me.

Not crazy about that blue color. As for the truck, you won't make a better investment vehicle wise. I've seen them used the same way you'd use a 4 wheeler. Through woods and regularly driven through flooded crawfish/rice fields. I had one that I TRIED to break (was 21) and never could. If you like the design in and out then but it becasuse what comes under the hood is second to none.

I bough one new in 2003. It was my full time driver until March of this year, and I'll be passing it on to my 16-year-old next month. The truck has 190k and it is absolutely solid - the interior doesn't rattle and the truck still handles tight...best vehicle I've ever purchased.

I have a 97 4x4 ext cab Taco with 180K+ miles and it is still performing well. When I need another truck, it will be another 4x4 Taco.

I have an '06 with 174K miles on it; it's damn near bullet proof.

The sample size for the '16 is too small; the truck hasn't been out long enough. With the new power plant (although it's not a new design), everything is TBD.

I recommend never buying the first year of a newly designed vehicle.....including the Tacoma.

My 2008 4Runner has 135k and has never had any issues. I debate on trading it for a Tacoma, but I get 90% of same use from my cargo space.

This, love mine. After owning nothing but F-150's my whole life, i'll never drive anything but a Toyota from now on. Bout to get the wife a Rav 4 also.

And for the people who say that Toyotas not being Merican made , google is your friend.
