Yes I do and should have mentioned it but the port is something New Orleans has always had and not something that will go away. But even it has it's limits with access, ships getting larger, competition from Mobile, Houston etc...

I meant in terms of manufacturing, hi tech, industry etc...

Cotton and oil for the most part are gone. Finance is gone. Can any of that come back?

What will create jobs beyond the service industry? Serious discussion. Can it work with Baton Rouge to create a regional hub or destination for 21st century economic engines?

Do they both need each other?
