Another Bama thread: So, what is going on with Bama's scoring offense?

They were consistent as a Swiss watch in the early going:
35
37
37
34
38
THEN
27, 20 (they had 3 pick sixes to make the final 41), 19
Can an "offense" get tired as Saban suggests? Have they had a slew of injuries to the OL? I know their receivers and running backs are carrying their QB, but is there something else going on?
And, I didn't break down how many, if any, of these scores are defensive or special teams, other than the 3 pick sixes against aTm, but certainly seems to be trending the wrong way for the Tide (the right way for us, ).

This isn't hard hitting analysis by any means, but we just sucked against Arkansas, our starting center got hurt during the A&M game which made us go from dominating their line to a stalemate, and against UT we stalled in the red zone a couple times but they whipped us badly with their pass rush. We have just had so many negative plays that a lot of drives get stalled.

I have no misconceptions that we're not gonna get their best shot despite any trend they're on.

They have 5 D/ST TDs and a safety on the season, plus a punt block that set up an easy score. Their adjusted ppg on offense is 28. By contrast, we have 3 D/ST TDs (one of which netted 4 points), making our adjusted ppg 36.5.
Limit turnovers, especially on our side, and don't give up the big ST play, and our defense should be fine.

Don't forget that in the UGA game we had 2 non-offensive touchdowns.
It pretty much just comes down to what every other Bama fan will tell you-blown assignments, and negative plays, all directly related to the O-line.
For whatever reason, our Oline has no consistency. Many of Coker's interceptions even were because he couldn't get the ball off without someone in his face, or hitting him mid-throw.
The bad: it really hasn't gotten better game-to-game, so why should we expect that to change against LSU? You guys have an NFL-talented defense like always, and will wreak havoc if we frick around. Hopefully some magic happens on the bye-week, and they get some mojo.
The good: Kiffin has kind of play-called around it, impressively might I add. We are definitely capable of moving the ball right down the field on many drives, and we have the skill players to make plays against LSU.

Their starting center has been out with a concussion for one thing.

Well it is unfair to say that the Bama offense had only 20 pts against the Aggies. While technically true, I am sure that they would have put up some more pts if they would have been on offense for those three possessions instead of the defense taking it in for scores.
