But yes, the team is incredibly young, and only now starting to flex financial muscle.
They are stacked in the lineup. They have a Cy Young candidate #1 starter and a legit #2 that would be a #1 most anywhere else. They have financial flexibility.

What do they do to bolster that rotation? Sign all the Greinkes?

The future on the North Side is as bright as could possibly be....

As shitty as this series was, just think about the experience it gives this team....The high of winning a series against your rival, and how quickly you can be exited...

Tons of youth, tons of money, tons of talent.........I'ts going to be a fun ride!

I hope we make a serious run at him and price. Could see the spending getting crazy and bowing out and going for zimmerman and kennedy too. Would also like to see them make a play for heyward, but I think he'll command too much money for a team like he cubs (with plenty of bats already) to take that risk.

Arrieta hasnt done anything remotely close to this before this season, it is a sign of things to come, or was this a flash in the pan season for him? not a flame at all, i just want to know what Cubs fans thoughts are about it.
