you know how Drew plays the most in like his 3rd preseason game? Same concept. AD probably won't play much the rest of the preseason. Give him one long outing to start adjusting and now he will get time off.

He's likely getting the night off anyway against the heat.

Eichenhofer brought up the point that that they play a back to back to open up the season. Getting everyone in gear In a rehersal makes sense.

Side note: Nate dawg was pretty efficient tonight scoring and we need that.

And he still only plays ~half of the game. I just don't see the point of it. He's been tearing shite up in the new system. What is he going to learn in 40 minutes that he couldn't learn in 20? It would make more sense if we were healthy and Gentry was trying to get everyone to improve their chemistry. But everyone else is out. They should have let AD and EG play with Jrue in his 15 minutes, then shut them down the rest of the game.

I love the pace that we're playing with, but I'm not seeing the great ball movement that we expected. It's early and we're injured as frick, so I'm not freaking out or anything. But it would nice to see more passing.
