Why do those worried for LF's future focus on total carries & not the real issue

Seems like they talk in the media about the number of carries LF is getting and how it is exposing him to an injury that could hurt his pro potential, but they never mention the number of times Fournette is held up and gang tackled WELL after the whistle is blown.

That's what is gonna injury him. The play is over and 2 seconds after the whistle, 6 guys are still pushing him backwards trying to bring him to the ground. shite needs to stop

What's the dude have to do to get a call?

At least one of those definitely should have been called last night...I thought back to when Shaq used to get mauled on the court...

why is this even an issue? he didn't carry the ball that much last year this year is only carrying it so much because he's running for f****** 10 yards a carry. sometimes he had to carry people with his face mask.

I do appreciate the LSU love in the media though.

Amen to this. More attention needs to be paid here by the officials.

It's an issue but nothing will ever happen because they'll say crowd noise is the reason players tackle him anyway.

Did you notice the umpire divert his gaze from LF after the no-call when UF stayed engaged a full 3 seconds after the whistle. Dude knew he was wrong but too gutless to throw the flag.

Only have seen one obvious call missed and that was last night.

The most frustrating part is that he constantly complains to the refs and the shite continues. Defenders are coached to do it. It "wears him down faster". ....or so they all keep thinking

Don't worry, the officials will start calling that after the Bama game.

It happened a lot last year too. If you watch a Fournette highlight vid, there were several late hits on him after touchdown runs. Notre Dame and Florida games last year come to mind. Hes two steps into the end zone and guys are still tying to tackle him/strip the ball

It's not just happening with Fournette, this has been an issue throughout CFB this season. Officials have been terrible at acknowledging when forward progress has been stopped and it times to blow the whistle and end the play.

Players safety should always be the 1st priority.

Most of the people "concerned" about LF's future are typically connected to one of LSU's opponents.
