The players get hype on kickoff duty when they play this. Let's give it a try, maybe UF won't take one to the house on us.

please explain why you support "Go DJ" as the kickoff song
Not saying I support it, but it's used for kickoff returns for Donte Jackson. Get it, Go DJ.

How about a combo:
Bitch, I'm from Louisiana so STTDB
It will be the perfect storm........

LSU is not losing a recruit because they don't play I'm from Louisiana before kickoffs.
"I'll take Strawmen Arguments for $300, Alex."
No shite.
The point is we ought to care less about catering to the musical whims of boosters and more to those of the players...again...if the goal is winning football games and not simply creating a fun backdrop for booster schmoozing and client give-aways.
What they play makes no difference to me...so long as it's aimed at the guys on the field and not the idiots in the stands...who would, I'm guessing...quit all that supporting if the players quit playing so well.

Needs to be played at opening kickoff. It gets the players hyped. Especially when playing a rival who is from our state.
Recruits also love it.

Without the idiots in the stands there would be no football team either.

Peveto probably made them stop playing it and told the players "it doesn't matter what song is being played, rabble rabble, touchbacks are bad, rabble, all we need is callin baton rouge, rabble, pooch kick"

Doesn't matter what WE think of the song. Fact is, the players get hyped for it, and that's what we need on special teams.
What song can we play to make BDP coach better?

I'll say this one more time, and allow you guys to continue to argue about it...
As someone who is in the stadium from the earliest time they will allow me to enter (2 hours prior to kick off) and who watches the guys on the field from the time they enter, I'm straight up telling you there is a HUGE difference in their interest levels in being out there based entirely on the music they play while they're out there.
Not exactly sure why this should come as a surprise to anyone... Do you guys listen to Barry Manilow while working out or running? Everyone already knows that music plays a huge part in setting a mood, etc...why not allow these guys to get in the zone they need to be ready to play up to their potential? What do you think they're listening to in the headphones as they walk down the hill? Why do you think they're listening to anything right then?
We spend a shite ton of facilities to lure in the best players...we support the team in any number of ways...why then not continue this for the hour or so leading up to kick off?
If someone wants to rock out to Journey, stay at the tailgate up until kick off. Truth be told, I'd prefer to hear that instead of Flo-Rida...but then I'm not running down on kick off, so my musical preferences ought to be secondary to the guys that are.
Feel free to disagree...

What if I think they both blow?

And people who prefer "Calling Baton Rouge" should do the same, only right.

I'd rather them not play any music than play that crappy rap garbage. Let the band play. Quit piping in the stupid rap crap.

Take that GHETTO SHITE somewhere else.

What song snippet is that they play at 3rd down? I was wondering that the other day. It kinda jams.

He knows EXACTLY what the people who like Boosie's song looks like . . . and they DON'T look like him.
