I bet some of you think the McDonald's coffee case was frivolous too.
What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? Yes, contrary to popular belief, that wasn't a frivolous case. This is bullshite. You don't sue your nephew for shite he accidentally did at 8.

why? his client has a case. the kid negligently caused injury to his aunt and she's suffered from that injury
This.
Legally she has a case.
Morally she is a count

Anyone who has read any actual documents from that case doesn't think that
Edit- this was about the McDonald's coffee case, not the county aunt case

Is this in response to what he quoted or what he said?

A Connecticut jury needed just 25 minutes Tuesday to decide against a Manhattan human resources manager who sued her own nephew for $127,000 in damages after he accidentally broke her wrist.
Connell barely flinched when the jury’s verdict was read and then fled the Bridgeport courthouse without saying a word

That was in response to him saying some people think the McDonald's coffee case was frivolous

Here's the douche who represented her: Bill Beckert. What a douche. I hope the two of them are ready for the social media hell that is about to ensue.

“We do not take great pleasure in bringing a minor to court,” Connell’s lawyer, William Beckert, said. “She is not here enjoying a moment of this."
But Sean “should have known better.”
"We have rules for children," the lawyer continued. "He was not careful. He was unsafe.”
What a fricking tool.

Well, I agree with you then. The lawsuits are still cheaper than the manpower necessary to refill thousands of cups of "cool" coffee. It's a business decision; old lady deserved to be paid.

I want to beat his arse like Bane and choke him out to finish it off.

How would you like for this tampon to be your father?

If the aunt had significant medical bills associated with her broken arm, I don't have an issue with her bringing the lawsuit to recoup those costs.
Why?
Why should a liability policy have to pay ANYTHING for an 8 year old jumping into the arms of his aunt? I can't fathom this attitude.
Why doesn't she do like all other normal, non-litigious, greedy people, and simply go get treated and use her health insurance?
Why do some people think that any time any one gets injured, there has to be someone other than themselves, or just circumstances, responsible?
