contrary to the narrative he actually has pitched really well in the playoffs on three days rest. shut down the braves in 2013 and was hanley being able to get an inch or two higher from shutting down the cards last year. still, gonna need to bring it

This team sucks so fricking bad without Kershaw or Greinke on the mound. Mattingly has hid behind those two long enough. The only silver lining of this disaster is finally getting rid of that dumbass.

yep. kind of hard to blame them when we lost our third and fourth starters for the year before we got out of the first week in may

I'll trade you losing 3rd and 4th starters for losing 1st and 3rd?

why? the cards are staring down elimination just like we potentially are. no one wins that trade

Was the game where he struck out like 11 Braves on short rest?

I'd rather have 1/2 than have 3/4.

Kershaw or Wainwright on short rest > a 3/4

agreed. but going to a game like this tied 1-1 without really having a reliable third man sucks. really doesnt matter though when its looking like both situations are going to end the seasons of the teams

As much as I like ZG and CK, I will shed zero tears when the Doyers inevitably get eliminated.

Those games can be downright fricking scary and I'm not that big of a pussy.

Great venue though, just shitty ghetto arse fans minus the celebs.

I guess most managers do some really annoying shite. Not Williams level but pretty close.

There's only two off the top of my head that are pretty top notch time and time again. That would be Maddon and Bochy.

But I've also only watched Maddon a lot this year, never saw him much when he was at that death pit franchise. He managed pretty spot on this year from what I saw.
