It's been noted that Miles actually doesn't prefer kickoffs to the end zone.. Wants to try to pin them inside the 20..
Personally, that's a ridiculous philosophy IMO..
Just kick it out and don't even have to worry about poor field position.
But yes, let Gamble kick it deep.

I wonder if he was even available. Because the game was an "away" game, LSU could only have a limited number of players available ( I think it is 70 max?)
Anyway, I am unsure if Gamble was on the available roster.

Miles doesn't care for the Mad Hatter persona and worries about the puns that would elicit from the national media.

Gamble kicked yesterday. He went in after Domingue kicked the opening kick out of bounds. But then, they shifted back to Domingue and started kicking pooch onsides.

Didn't Gamble kick the one they returned for the TD?

He kicked off when they took it to the house

Thanks for the info

No prob.
What drives me crazy is neither Gamble or Domingue seemed to have the ability to kick it into the endzone, (although Gamble seems to have the stronger leg). But this guy for SC boomed almost every single kick out of the back of the endzone.

He kicked recently and wasn't much better.

He doesn't know the playbook.
Domingue gets the guys lined up correctly.

I'm glad someone else realized this. Reading all the "Why doesn't Gamble kick," comments made me feel like I was taking crazy pills.

How can you blame Gamble for the runback? There was a huge hole in the right side of coverage where at least 2 players left their lanes. It was wide arse open. Why blame the kicker?

Its a shame. A year in the weight room should be enough to get an extra 10 yards on a kickoff. They aren't being coached
maybe in the top 20 stupidest posts on the rant

The kick landed at the 4. Short kick
