This is a huge loss coming into UF. Any diagnosis yet? We will have a very physical game next weekend. Assuming he doesn't play, does someone else step in the FB role or does Mouton step in full time.

He looked OK on the sideline. My guess is that he could have played, but they held him out cause they didn't really need him.

LSU will probably go with a bagel instead of a roll.

Hope your right! He is a big part of what we do on offense.

Probably a thigh bruise from what it looked liked to me. I haven't seen anything official though.

They worked on his knee the whole time on the sidelines. Maybe just some kind of a bruise/light strain that they were a little nervous about but he came back out in sweats with no knee support that I could see so he should probably be okay.

From another site....apparently he looked fine after the game....no ice & no limping. Should be no problems next week. Should see Mills, Gordon & Bower all in the lineup next week.

According to Tre White's comment, #LSU DB Jalen Mills should play next week. White said he thought Mills would play y'day.

Moore is a horse at 6'4 240. I was glad that he got the ball in the flat just wish he would not have gotten hurt on that play.

I don't think Mills would have dressed out yesterday if he wasn't able to play

He has definitely been a pleasant surprise to me. He also seems to use angles and pad level well. Very nimble for a FB and good in space. Very often he gets his head and hands in the right position to make good blocks.

Mills if healthy will definitely bring some swagger back to this D. Hopefully with him coming back we can get Adams closer to the line of scrimmage where he can make plays and Mills hold down the backend. But who knows foot injuries are tricky. Hope he is 100%

Whats the chances that he would be moved to TE? With all the talent that we seem to have at FB(Mouton, Ducre). I know the move would not happen this year but possibly next. I mean at 6'4 and his athletic ability he would be one hell of a TE.

I'm sure he would be a very capable TE. I kind of got the feeling Cam was a little uncomfortable with Mouton in the game though, hence we ran much more 1 back stuff. Seems very possible though if Mouton and Ducre progress and grow like they could in coming years.

JD was a tight end originally that was moved to fullback. He has good hands.

Why do people have this continued love affair with Ducre? What shred of evidence exists that he is a good fullback, much less better than the starter?

And what shred of evidence exists that Moore would be a better tight end than any of the tight ends we have?

Moreau is the tight end of the future, imho. He's mostly filling Gordon's role in the 2TE set right now, but he can catch.

Ducre is a good fullback. That being said, fullback is not exactly the position you put your younger guys at.

It takes time to learn defenses/blocks. But the biggest thing is, 2-3 years worth of SEC weight lifting. Let the guy get bigger and stronger, then let him run over people.
