he most telling thing in that picture to me is Strief got owned, and Brees is about to take a hit.

Yes. Drew has to rush the throw because he is likely losing faith in Strief's blocking ability and he doesn't want to get smashed again with his arm cocked back.

I don't think Brees is "fine". Yet.

A lot of short passes. And you guys forget the two dropped int's dallas had.

I hope his arm is better for longer throws soon or teams will cheat up even more. As said by many Brees will never admit to anyone that his arm is not 100%.

We just got a W against the Cowboys. Why bash Brees though? We all know his arm is still hurting, but I would rather him at QB than anyone else on the roster. McCown played well, no doubt but, Drew is the leader of this team. Ride or die, bro.

I hope that Strief at least yelled "Look Out!". That's the least that he could do for a man that took him to a Super Bowl.

I really think Brees, when healthy, is capable of making 95% of the throws he was making in 09-11.

Are you suggesting that Drew can't throw the ball 30yds downfield and that was the reason for this decision?

We need to keep the quick, short routes until we fix our oline

He's going to die if not, and our offense is way better on the 3 step drops

Strief needs help from a RB or a TE to block these DE's. Sean Payton sometimes uses these schemes to help out Strief and Brees. Think Strief needs help all the time. Also, Green Bay lines up in Shotgun with COBB in the backfield. We should do plays like that with Cooks.
I DO NOT SEE WHY NOT, IT WORKS FOR GREEN BAY.

You people who think Brees is 100% healthy and at the absolute peak of his game are honestly retarded.

He's not bad, he's still a top QB and all that. But is pretty obvious he is suffering.

You forgot to circle the safety to point out that ball would either get picked or batted down. Drew made the right read

Well i never said that

But that doesn't mean he's ineffective. I gave you an example from the last game that you asked for

Kinda hard to make this throw when you're about to be some dlineman's dinner.

Also, this pic doesn't tell me enough unless it's a gif or video clip. The safety could easily be coming underneath to int the ball. Throwing under pressure is different than not being under pressure...c'mon. Either Cooks is moving more towards the S with the S cutting underneath or he's running a deep route. You can't say for sure. Much easier to throw open when someone isn't breathing down your neck so you can see what the S is doing.

You are a fricking moron. He sat out for one week already.

He needs to sit out longer then. Till he's 100%. Not trot out there at 60% and play half-assed most of the game.

Wtf are you bitching about? He threw an absolutely flawless game and threw deeper balls when asked to. Why does he need to sit out after being the NFC offensive player of the week? FFS the IQ on this board is at least 20 points below the national average.
