Wait until 12:20 or so tonight. CW will have the finale online then and you can watch it for free.

Quite simply the best episodic television episode featuring a comic book superhero. Astounding in visuals and storytelling, fully realizing a modern comic book feel. If I'm overlooking anything obvious its just a mistake due to the "holy shite that was so amazing" factor. Not including Batman the TAS or any animation.

Wow, great season.

Pardon a non-reader/ animated watcher. But what's Flashpoint?

Comic arc in DC in which Barry Allen accidentally goes back in time and saves his mother. As a result, Kal-El lands at a military base, BRUCE Wayne is killed (Thomas becomes Batman, Martha becomes the Joker), Aquaman and Wonder Woman have an affair and Wonder Woman beheads Mera when she confronts her about it, starting a war between Atlantis and the Amazons that basically ends the world...oh, and Barry never became the Flash.

All of this was orchestrated by Eobard Thawne. Eventuallly Barry fixes it by going back in time, finding his past self who ruined things, and ramming him off course.

It reset the entire DC Universe, creating the "New 52".

A horrible decision that DC seems to finally be letting Geoff Johns rectify with their current "Rebirth". They're retconning New 52 in a pretty wild way.

While Flashpoint had a negative effect on the comic universe, this really feels like it'll be great for the show. Could be, if they handle it right.

Best part about how they are handling The Flash is there are several different routes they can go with this. I always thought this show was the key that could hold the DCU together, movies and television, live action and animated.

You know, I really don't care that the real Jay Garrick looks a bit odd in that costume and that John Wesley's health is to the point where he can't walk without a limp. That was one of the best moments in superhero TV history.

Not sure how they'll do Flashpoint without Arrow and Legends being altered as well. Unless they wrap it up in an episode or two.

That was a great homage to Shipp and his original portrayal. Shipp is a great actor (2 Emmy's under his belt) and I've always enjoyed seeing him pop up in various things.

I had no idea he was in poor health, got any more info on that?

Felicity Smoak is only good for one thing and she does not smoke pole in the show so she is fricking worthless.
