No, but I remember them saying as he matures and learns he would get better. He did as the year went on and now is doing....well, let's say really good.

Sure I do. A lot of them were. Now they all have no memory. lol I kept sayin the kid needs to get used to the next level. That going from HS to college everyone needs to adjust. No one just busts out like that. And as the season wore on you could see him turning the corner until he starting running at the end of the season like he is right now.

Adrian Peterson Freshman yards per carry-5.7
Leonard Fournette Freshman yards per carry -5.5
Adrian Peterson was playing with one of the most prolific passing attack in cfb history and LeonardFournette was playing with one of the worst passing attacks in lsu history.
Last year Leonard Fournette led the sec in all purpose yards as a true freshman. That's happened 6 times in the history of sec football.

He was not impressive the first half of last year. Throughout the second half you could see the light coming on and him getting better and better.

He was not an otherworldly player last year.. I never called him a bust but I don't think he exceeded any expectations last year by any means.

Yes I do. Some were saying he goes down too easily and doesn't run hard. Some were claiming Williams was a better running back.
