So at least 1 dam failed in downtown Columbia, leading to part of the city achieving 500 year flood levels very quickly.

Lake Murray is going to do a release here pretty soon, so the rivers below are about to rise.

There have been at least 4 deaths so far.

I took this one about an hour ago.

Sims lake damn breech in Ft Jackson has fricked the world around here. My neighborhood is all completely trapped in. Fortunately I'm pretty high, but lots of others have flooded ground floors. The Jackson Blvd/ Devine/ s belt line area is underwater....my old house on kilbourne south of lake Katherine is gone......no one here has ever seen anything like this

Flooding sucks. Here's to it not getting worst for you guys and making a full recovery.

Keep us updated. Especially in Columbia area please. LSU fans coming to town will definitely know a thing or two about floods and will probably be more willing to help because of that
