Buy the Henry new, but pick up an older 10/22 from LA Sportsman or something and rehab it.

It's a fun project. I'm building one now. Got the trigger pulling consistently just below 2 lbs. It's gonna make a fun plinker.

Head over to rimfirecentral.com.

You can learn about all the mods folks make to 10/22s and other rimfires. They also have a Henry forum.

I say the henry 22 mag lever action also. It is a fun gun to shoot and they are very accurate.

Absolutely no reason to by any thing other than bone stock 10/22.

That tactical package can be done with a around $100-150.

Hogue over mold stock and bull barrel is all it is.

I will have to look on the gun but my old man has a different brand that looks the exact same and use the 10/22 mag magazines. I think he got it from Cabela's or Jims. Not 100% sure

Magnum Research makes a 22 mag that utilizes the 10/22 trigger block and rotary magazines. You can build and customize on them just like the tiger 10/22s. Awesome little rifle, very accurate.

I ended up getting the 10/22 with a 32 round mag. I am going next week to get the archangel conversion kit. I am happy with my purchase. Thanks for yalls opinion.
