Be honest, did you think Buga will be this good?

He went from being our best playmaker last year to the best player in game this year.

One more after this season to. Dudes maybe 20! #BugaNation

And he has surpassed my hype.

I had complete confidence in thinking he would break out this year. I didn't think Les would have the team this good though

No reasonable person will say yes. There will be 50 people who will critique his play.

I thought he would be really good but not on the level of "make 200 yards look easy" good

I did not. He has greatly improved from last year. Scary to think how good he may be next year if he continues to improve.

I knew he'd be good, and improved from last year, but nothing like this.

The only flaw I can find with him is he isn't impervious to being punched in the dick. That is the only indication I have that he is human at this point.

I mean, good in many ways, yes. Best in a long time, yes. Great in a conventional sense, yes.

Phenom who consistently does crazy shite to defenses....kinda but not really. Who can predict that?

Ever since he lost the weight, I sensed something special could happen. Just not this special.

I didn't mainly due to past LSU offenses and their consistency to rotating runningbacks.

There were threads on here after the Miss State game about how Jeremy Hill was better

I thought he would come in and be Jeremy Hill good. Which i think many thought was unrealistic. I think it is a little bit of an undersell. He is freakishly good.

Some of the stuff he does is super human.

Yeah - he's the most significant single recruit since Michael Clayton - probably since Kevin Faulk, even. He is one of the most heralded recruits in a generation.

And when a kid is that good, out of Louisiana, at that position, you just have to go with it. I mean the hype started for this kid in middle school - and it just built and built. His measureables were off the charts good, and his on-field performance against good high school defenses - as a freshman for example - made it clear he was going to be a very, very special player.

I mean, the same people who were hyping watched Eddy Lacy and Jeremy Hill in high school and they were blown away.

So - yeah, I thought so. (Maybe not on pace for 2400 yards as a sophomore and being 1 penalty away from a nearly 400 yard game on the road at a BCS opponent's stadium - so - yeah, you might have me there - but I thought he was going to be as good/better than Kevin Faulk and that's the highest compliment I can pay a running back.)

HCB thinks that Harry Coleman is good and that Jacoby Jones is the of baseball, so you have to take it with a grain of salt.

I wasn't sure he'd get the bulk of the carries to find out!

This

Yes, I pumped him up to my colleagues, but he's even exceeding my expectations. Thought he would be all-sec this year, all American by the time he left college, but did not think he would actually be a serious heisman hopeful due to playing in the sec and LSU likes to rotate backs.
