Thinking of taking the wife on a surprise weekend trip to Vegas next month. Besides the usual, what should we do?
And no, she won't go to the Bunny Ranch.

Bunny Ranch is near Reno, anyway. Most of the Cirque shows are good. I can vouch for Mystere, La Reve, O, Ka, and Zarkana. Mon Ami Gabi at Paris is a nice place to eat outdoors, although there are better pure steak places.

Le Reve at the Wynn is amazing. It's not CdS, but just as good IMO.

Pretty much the Wynn in general.

Cirque du Soleil "O" show! This is their best show ever! And I have seen many of their shows.

Celine Dion is performing again. Women really like this.

The buffet at the Orleans Hotel and Casino.

Would she be up to see a topless show? I went see fantasy at Luxor the last time I was there. I enjoyed it.

The Beatles "Love" Cirque de Soleil show at the Mirage is excellent.

I did this with my fiancé a few months ago. Vegas has so much to do. We stayed at MGM and hit the pool party during the day and hit XS at the Wynn at night.

Can't really go wrong with Cirque shows..... Here are the ones I've seen and they are nothing short of frickING AWESOME.

1. O
2. Love
3. Mystere
4. La Reve
5. Absinthe
6. Michael Jackson's ONE

Don't sit too close, there are so many visual things going on that fill up the entire stage. Sit at least halfway back, if not you will be pissed that you didn't.

Dining in Vegas is so deep, your options are truly unlimited. The restaurant we frequent every time we go is the Eiffel Tower restaurant inside the Paris Casino. It's not new or a "celeb hotspot" but it's a perfect place to have a meal and watch the Bellagio fountains.
