And yes he absolutely did... and it's plain to see for any non-jackass with the game on DVR
I also hear the line judge was clairvoyant and knew that Fournette was going to score on an 82-yard-run when he threw the flag when they snapped the ball.

And the ball is on the 13yard line... Durals front front is at the 11.5yard line at best(more like the 11). Still a yard and a half off the LOS. He wasn't close to being on the LOS.
At the 11? Dupree is at the 11, he's standing right in it, and his back leg is behind the 10. Durals back foot is closer to the 10.5 which would put his front leg closer to the 12.
But this is my point. It's within the margin of error of the naked eye, and why it's such a shitty call.

Take your stupidity somewhere else.

These flags on us have been very picky and sometimes down right fishy. Like the linemen down field against State that wasn't called and the QB still having his little toe half way in the backfield when he threw the ball. Some of those flags were thrown pretty fast like Dupree's catch against state when it could have been called a catch and not overturned.

It's literally an eye ball test. I keep saying it, but regardless I don't think a penalty here fits the spirit of the rule.

Well genius, my claims are, in the few times I watched the replay...
1. 83 never motions to the S.J. (on the replay)
2. 15 motions to 83 to move forward with his right hand a second before he in turn takes a "small step back'.
If you can take a break from being a prepubescent jackass for a moment, you could figure out that the replay obviously doesn't cover the entire playing field during every play... so it's possible 83 "could" have checked w/ L.J. But as someone who's attempting to sound intelligent like yourself, you should be able to comprehend I never said "83 didn't check w/ L.J." I said it was NOT on the replay. What the players told Miles is irrelevant... and has no bearing on anything I said.

And tech has 4 wrs at least a yard off the Los again. Where are the flags!?!?
Posted on 9/26/15 at 7:25 pm to Turbeauxdog
Prettyy simple. the receiver should always check with the line judge. no idea why he didn't do that.

FWIW, in the TT-TCU game the outside WRs are consistently lining up CLOSER to the line than the outside tackles.
again... tifwiw

quote:ditto. And it doesn't help that Syracuse was just flagged for the same thing so the players should have been aware that the ref's were calling it.
It's the right call

So you think that the difference between Durals back leg to his front leg is like 4.5feet? Really?
Dupre is taller and has longer legs and his back foot is at the 10yard like and his front foot is right at the 11yard line... A distance of 3ft between his front and back foot. You mean to tell me that the distance between Durals feet is 1.5ft longer than Dupres? Really?

No it's not. And even majority of people on the rant think that it's obvious that he's not lined up on the LOS, and this is tRant.

The rule is you must have at least 7 guys lined up on the LOS.
Nitpicking, but actually this is not the rule anymore. The rule is that you can't have more than 4 in the backfield. It is not a penalty to play with 6 on the line if you think playing with only 10 total on offense is an advantage.

I don't understand what everyone is so confused about on this.
Dural is about a yard and a half off the line. Pretty damn clear

It's really not that close. It was easy to tell on the replay they showed during the game. And if you can't see how far off he was in this still picture with the black line showing the line of scrimmage then idk what to tell you

I'm not sure why this is even a penalty. What's the big advantage for a team to have more players further away from the line of scrimmage?
So defenses can see who is eligible receivers or not

If anyone was watching the TCU game or this Oregon game, they would see the difference. The WRs are closer than the tackles. No way in hell Dural was near that
Posted on 9/26/15 at 8:35 pm to Geaux Tahel
Even if they're a little off the line, if you check with the ref and he says cool then it's all good
