Harris did put the ball on the WR's most of the time, but he did seem to put a little air under the ball a few times...most notably the play that Dupree was shaken up. I prefer a QB that will actually throw the ball, but you don't want to hang your target out to dry like he did with Dupree today and Jeter last week. With that being said, it is still an improvement over Jennings taking a sack in a similar situation last season.

The current stable of great receivers and any future receiver recruits will get tired of just running routes and blocking.

WR's are very overrated.

Then why does LSU keep bringing in high end recruits? People have been spouting the WR myth for years but it hasn't come close to being true.

I believe your point is valid, and it's obvious that Harris will be better with better pass protection. With that said, the fact that he hasn't thrown an interception through 3 games is a great sign, even if he hasn't thrown but roughly 50 passes.

I didn't see any passing struggles. I saw some WRs who need to secure the catch.

Due to the lack of passing last season and the warming into the pass this season we haven't had a chance to really evaluate the WRs and their HS stars.

Roger you may be onto something. What if these WRs aren't as elite as we've been hearing.

Passing game would be solid if not for all the drops.

We don't throw nearly enough 7-10 yd passes. We either throw it sideways or go for the home run most of the time.

there will be no passes over the middle thrown and it's been that way since 2009

cam's offense from baltimore utilized the TE extensively. this offense it's sideline throws or deep passes. no passes over the middle. no passing to the TE hardly ever, no screen passes, and no crossing routes.

Honestly I don't think he passes over the middle because Les is afraid of a turnover.

That is where INT's happen. Just my opinion.
