63% of his readers are more optimistic about the season after watching the Miss. St. game. I am one of them simply because of the composure of Brandon Harris and the fact that we got out of there with a W. Is this board as optimistic as his readers?

I'm pretty optimistic. I'm concerned about the back end of the season, though.

@Alabama
Arkansas
@Ole Miss
Texas A&M

That's a tough slate for us. Believe it or not, the least of my worries in this stretch is A&M.

I could just see Arkansas getting better as the season goes on and giving us a fight as usual.

As long as the defense is great the rest of the year, I'm confident our offense is good enough to win the SEC and get into the playoffs.

W'll be undefeated and ranked in the Top 5 verses bama. The season will toughen up measurably then...but this bunch should be primed for a great run.

Initially was was not encouraged given the way we finished the game but the more I think about it, I feel confidently optimistic about the team going forward.

Beat Auburn and build up to November. You never want to see the finished product in week one.

I was much more optimistic after the game than before. I think Harris can be a good QB for us.

Can you imagine beating 3 ranked teams to end the season and winning the SEC? Not only are we a lock in for the playoffs, but our confidence would be through the freaking roof

Talking about this thread which asks if you are more optimistic after watching the Miss St. game. Seems most people are.

I'm not any more or less optimistic due to the State game.

I'm more optimistic because the SEC is much weaker than most anticipated.

Appears that way anyway

But it's still early in the season. Teams can improve
