Exactly if no bad feelings no big deal they celebrate. Plenty of players have celebrated vs their old team like Lewa vs Dortmund but Gotze didn't bc all the drama when he left.
I agree in part but only because the "drama" you mention usually means that fans of the previous club already hate the player and have usually made it clear he's already "enemy #1".
The celebration against them in that case is like "frick you too, again".
What I disagree with is that if there's no drama they just celebrate. It absolutely matters to fans and it matters a LOT.
So, they can celebrate but they'll never be welcomed back and the fans of the previous club will mainly take it as a "frick you, I could care less".
It's mainly whether the player wants to be considered a villain to the fans or maintain a good relationship and be remembered fondly and always welcome back.
Not arguing any moral ground since bad guys make the game more fun but that's what you make yourself if you celebrate against fans that supported you.
Marquinhos or Lamela, for example, are guys that AS Roma fans still love and consider one of their own. They left with no drama and respect from fans so if they celebrated against Roma it would be absolutely unheard of. Kids would cry and burn their shirts aand crazy ultras would try to fight them if they ever showed their face in Rome.
Destro, on the other hand, wasn't widely liked and so fans would consider it just par for the course but still hate him a bit more.
Same for someone like Mexes, who left on a free with a lot of controversy. He's already an enemy and everyone would be waiting for it.

Will switch between United v. PSV and Aberdeen v. Hamilton.

For whatever reason, Bayern is on ESPN2 tomorrow. I don't remember that happening last season.
I believe DirecTV is the only U.S. Service that gets all the CL group stage games on TV, but they outsource them to WatchESPN, though some are in Spanish....not sure how that works.

Aguero on the bench for City. Holy hell. No KDB, Nasri instead of Navas on the right.
Starting 11
CITY: Hart, Sagna, Kompany, Mangala, Kolarov, Toure, Fernandinho, Nasri, Silva, Sterling, Bony
Bench:
City subs: Caballero, Otamendi, Demichelis, Fernando, Navas, De Bruyne, Aguero

I wonder if KDB on the bench is a show of good faith to Nasri.

Probably, I would also assume that KDB is being held to maybe see what they can get from Silva, I doubt they'll want him playing the full 90 with that precautionary muscle issue. KDB and Navas coming on later as subs is pretty solid.

Take-away from the BT Sport pre-match show: Gerrard has a double digit IQ.

Let's go CSKA, Shakhtar, and Astana.

By the way, frick Memphis for saying he'd celebrate if he scored against PSV. The hatred continues to grow.
Why? The non-celebrating thing is idiotic unless it's a club legend (ex: Larsson at Celtic, Gerrard at Pool). You can't be a legend at 21.

There's a sinkhole in Manchester causing lots of traffic for people getting to the Etihad.
