Really? We're talking about winning the West, making the CCG. Iowa fans are happy with contending for the conferecne, maybe sometimes having a chance to win it. If something bigger than that happens on the national level, awesome. I don't see that as unrealistic.

I don't doubt Nebraska fans being overall more delusional, but you're bitching about being a consistent 8 win program, when Nebraska fans are bitching about being a consistent 9 win program (just going off Pelini's results). Both programs seem to be doing as expected in present day college football.
In fact I just noticed Ferentz signed like the top 10 players in Iowa last cycle. You guys are just surrounded by bordering states that don't have much talent.
