Come on, man. Move on! These kids have the right to choose where they wanna go play ball. Not everyone wants to go to LSU. But these kids don't deserve to be dumped on for choosing to start their young lives elsewhere.

I'm saying this for this sake of the kids! A&M fans don't give a shite about speedy right now because the have Kirk. They constantly rag on him because he has not progressed enough and again, they would rather see Kirk out there than speedy. If he comes to LSU its a whole new story, people in La wouldn't be happy that he isn't progressing but at the same time they wouldn't wish for him to do poorly. Hootie is miserable at Bama, he's not playing, and like speedy, the fans don't give a shite about him. He could've gotten the best coaching in the country and represented his home state but chose other wise and is now paying for it.
Neither guy has showed me anything that makes me say "damn I wish we had gotten him" but for the sake of recruiting in La players, they have more benefits staying home.

So is that on speedy.. or on Sumlin and the WR coach not doing a good job developing him. I still think Seals-Jones could be way better imo

Not sure. I see A&M saying Kirk is everything they thought speedy would be and speedy "doesn't know how to play wr" He has definitely lost playing time to the other receivers tho.

The second sentence is not correct at all. Hootie did not spurn LSU, LSU spurned Hootie. Once Ed Paris got Jamal Adams interested in the Tigers, the Tigers were no longer interested in Hootie.
It's very obvious who got the best deal in that signing class.

And I love the hypocrisy of LSU fans calling out TAMU about speedy when we have first page on the rant with about half the threads bashing coaches and players. The other half on the rant are praise for LF, Tolliver, and Key. Two of the three are from out of state. Those dummies should have stayed home because it is dumb to go out of state for any reason. Oh wait. Let me guess, it's a only a Louisiana thing right?

From what I remember both stayed pretty much away from the media the only difference is when they decided to announce. If C rob wasn't so good I promise you, you would see LSU fans happy about just like the posters in this thread are happy about hootie not playing. I still have no idea who those guys you are talking about, are they still in college? Honest question I never heard of any of them.

You really don't know the difference? Speedy's recruitment is well document and at no time did CRob tell the coaches he was in only to pick another school the next day.

Seriously, will you read this stupid drivel. I would like all of our top flight talent to stay in state but understand the draw to go out of state. As I've continually said as long as kids handle their recruitment, they won't get bashed. That's why Slyve, Young, Devall, and other kids who do it properly don't ring a bell to you...even though you are so pissed about top flight talent leaving the state apparently.

Its not speedy's fault his recruitment was well documented. He seems like a quiet kid and from the stories his mom told he wasn't sure where he was going until the day he announced.
Are you talking about chance slyve? He isn't being recruited by LSU. Kenny young was a big target but people knew he was going oos but luckily he picked ucla not A&M. Still don't know who devall is
