Harris has upside but they were careful not to put the game on his shoulders.

Also, he made a few questionable decisions on pass plays, throwing for short gains no where near the sticks

You realize those are 1 read called plays, right? The coaches wanted him to throw it near the LOS.

Why have receivers run those routes? Why call those plays?

Harris played a great game and his passes were crisp all night. The short routes are called by Cam and Les and a result of our offense scheme.

To get to the next level being the top 4 and winning the BCS you have to put the game on the QB's shoulders. Harris showed no signs this game that he is not ready to handle the pressure.

This game being close is not due to the players other than the penalties. LSU had a bad call with the pass to # 15 not being over turned and I thought the taunting penalty on # 33 was weak at best but the replays clearly showed all the other holding plays and chop blocks etc were legit and most of them were away from the play and not needed.

LSU coaching staff needs to clean up the penalties and yes coaches can coach penalties out of players.

LSU needs to put the trust in the QB position and LSU will be fine this year and next. If not we wont make it to the final 4

Like when Jeter made the reception...on *gasp* third down and Miss State blitzing? All these other schools find qbs that arent even as recruited as high as Harris that can throw the ball but our coaching staff won't let Harris throw?
