Preaching to the choir at this point. Even his former fans are getting tired of his shite. If you look at the thread we made during the first episode of Roger Bennett's lead up series to the World Cup, I was all on Jurgen's d thinking he was doing great things and had an awesome philosophy. Then the Donovan thing happened. He lost me with that. Every thing I've seen from him since then has just reaffirmed my initial misgivings from that incident.

My favorite part about Jurgen is how he says the player pool isn't good enough to compete yet....but we've somehow been at the top of CONCACAF for the last however many years.

I can buy us not being a true, perennial WC contender. I don't except us to make the semis or final every year. I'd be happy with one final in my lifetime.

But not good enough for the gold cup?

He's always trying to bring in players that are creative and take people on while providing width, yet he sat the best player in our country's history at doing so because of ego. I feel like I wouldn't be so upset with these failed experiments if he didn't present himself as the de facto face of US soccer.

It was scene in the movie where viewers become aware that something may be amiss with the power-crazed captain who will eventually steer the ship into the Bermuda Triangle.
