We are leaving Friday for the LSU MSU game. I am just wondering if there are any spots on MSU campus where we can have a truck right by our tailgate setup?

I went a few years back but it was on a Thursday. Pretty easy to tailgate... Not a whole ton of anything going on.

If you go once you will not go back...worse tailgating experience in the sec..just boring bring lots of beer...best bet is to stay at the casino and just bus in for the game and bus back to the casino....

My advice: Don't go. It's a shithole. Seriously.

The only reason I'm going this year is

1. I goto all LSU away games

2. I have family and friends up there so it's nice to see them.

Besides that, it's the worst town in the SEC

The Cotton District is not bad. Columbus is nearby and has a lot of good restaurants, too.

There is a bus service? We are staying at the casino and don't want to have to drive

Can you get on the bus if you don't stay on the hotel?

IDK because the 2 times I have been I just stayed at a friends apartment and walked to an already set up tailgate, but be sure you eat at Little Dooeys while you are in town.

I have always had a good time when I have been. Of course it could be because I have friends and family that went to state and live in starkvegas. The Cotton district is cool and there are actually quite a few rich farm girls that know how to have a good time. I could see how it would suck if you are old though.

Assuming it doesn't rain, there are a few grass lots that if you park in the right spot can accommodate your needs. Gonna be pretty far from the Junction and stadium out there though. Closest ones being on the south side of campus on Stone Blvd.

For the guy that recommended Columbus, it is a literal shithole with a few chain restaurants. But if Longhorn Steakhouse and Ryan's Buffet is your thing then drive on out there.

Bulldog Bash will be happening Friday night so go down to the Cotton District for a good time if you are into live music and a lot of drinking. Music lineup typically sucks with some mellow indie rock bullshite but its not like the music matters.
