Half of the state is waiting in line here. Not sure if they can fit more people in the building. Headed up the road to Best Stop.

The line moves quick.. Worth the wait. Best stop doesn't touch billies.

Find me a store that uses liver as more than a garnish

Smoked boudin is my go-to here. I'll admit I don't even stop on Sundays anymore. The line is always absurd when there are other good options around. However, if you're passing by and live hours away then stick around, it's worth your wait.

Do the drive thru it moves way faster than inside

I saw the drive thru. They were only about four cars deep, but it was my first time there and wanted to shop and see what they have. Unfortunately, the number of people in the store prevented me from even looking to see what they carry.
I've been to Best Stop before and have some favorite items. Picked up some Venison/Brisket/Steen's cane syrup sausage, pork/jalapeno/cabbage sausage too. Both are awesome.
I always get cracklins, and they weren't impressive today. Overcooked, dry and too crunchy. Shame, because they're usually very good there. I'm happy with my sausage purchase though.

Billy's in Scott is actually the second worst boudin I have ever had the displeasure of eating. Their cracklins were also the second worst I have ever TRIED to eat. Only Poche's has stooped to a lower level of gastronomical horridness.
I have to say though that I have tried the original Billys and was quite pleasurably surprised.
