Just an honest question, what movies are you personally missing out on because Superhero films are currently the "IT" genre? I mean, with 3 Superhero films this year and 4 next, it's not like they are dominating the box office, or taking funds away from anything else.
What exactly are the taking the place of?
Uh yes they are.

Why do you guys continue to bitch about Hollywood making movies that people want to see? You want them to stop making superhero movies that make them billions and make shite that less people want to see. Why? How could you possibly expect them to do that? Why would you want to say "frick everyone else, I want what I want".
What kinds of movies are you guys missing out on anyway? They made some new Star Wars movies, that didn't go so well. They're making newer ones. They tried to make some new LOTR movies. They sucked, but they made a shite load of money. They're making new Jurassic Park movies. They tried to make new Indiana Jones movies. They've tried to make new Sci Fi movies, IE Jupiter Ascending that failed. Guardians of the Galaxy was not a superhero movie. It was just a fun sci fi movie that happened to have the Marvel name on it. They've made massive sci fi movies like Avatar, that by the way was a massive hit. They're making old style action movies like The Expendables, Mission Impossible, and Fast and Furious. The Rock is the biggest action star and has yet to be in a comic movie. You get interesting mysteries like Gone Girl that are doing great at the box office. American Sniper was the highest grossing domestic movie from 2014 for crying out loud. Animated movies like The Lego Movie, Inside Out. Movies like Gravity made a killing. I mean, WTF do some of you want? Honestly?

Ok, explain? And link?
Marvel Studios isn't going to go out and make an original romantic comedy or historical drama. You're just trolling if you think that.
