I dont think it's laughable. I could see him pulling in 40m a year for 10 years with the Yankees.

Trout got 33 mil a year(the other part was buying out arbitration years) and this will be 6 years earlier and he didn't hit FA. Harper could easily get 40+ million per.

You laugh, and the $650 is certainly way out there.
But if Cabrera gets $292m at, what, 30 or so years old, what is so crazy about Harper getting 12/$400 ish at 26, assuming he plays like he has this season for a few more years?
