How big will Bryce Harper's free agent contract be in 2019

He will be the ripe age of 26. Assuming he keeps his MVP level of play up, what will he sign for?
No way he doesn't hit the free agent market.
I'm thinking 10-15 years 400-650 million.

Where do you think he goes? Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox, Mets?

I think 10 years, $300 million is the baseline. We could see an AAV of $30-$40 million.
It is important to remember that Harper is already wealthy because of his signing bonus, endorsements, etc. He is doing way better than his current low salary. He has no reason to sign an extension unless they give him an absurd deal.
My random guess: 12 years, $400 million.

That's a clown question, bro.

I dont think it's laughable. I could see him pulling in 40m a year for 10 years with the Yankees.

Trout got 33 mil a year(the other part was buying out arbitration years) and this will be 6 years earlier and he didn't hit FA. Harper could easily get 40+ million per.

I want to see how mega contracts after the new CBA look as well. I would be surprised if Harper gets over $40 million AAV unless the deal is "shorter."

I'm thinking he ends up in NYY or BOS. Big market, favorable parks for a lefty.

Boston is a favorable park for a lefty? Since when?

No one thought Arod would get 25 AAV in 2000, he blew the previous record high out of the water, I think it was maybe 16 mil AAV.

Whatever the Yankees decide to pay him.
He'll hit 55 homers at Yankee Stadium

Will he make "the decision" like LeBron live on ESPN though? Not 1.....not 2......not 3......

The great myth, of course, is that Fenway Park is perfectly built for right-handed power hitters. It is not. Fenway has always been tailor-made for a skilled left-handed batter possessing at least some degree of power, which is more than just semantics.

Probably the only teams that could afford him.
My guess would be the Yankees, I'm not sure the Dodgers will have their payroll under control by 2019

I bet Chris Bryant's will be bigger.

It's dependent on way too many factors but assuming everything stays the same until 2019 then 400 is probably the number

Well you don't even know how to spell his name, so I'm a little suspect on your qualifications to judge his contract size.
