The worst part of this will be the complaint threads started by the morons that think because NetFlix killed Blockbuster it's supposed to be a new release movie service. They decided several years ago they were moving towards original content. They still have to figure out how to crack the water cooler problem. Narcos is getting decent buzz on this board, but it was just released. I bet it dies down in a week or 2 and then we only see a random thread about it once every month or 2 as opposed to the busy weekly threads for hit shows released more traditionally.

They put their shows on the splash page - but, unlike HBO Go/HBO On Demand, Amazon Prime or Hulu - they do not force ads for their content onto their subscribers - I guess they'll have to consider that.

One of the kudos I give to Netflix is - No Ads - and I've been a subscriber all the way back to the old disc in, disc out model.

I think if they released an episode every week at a set time the amount of talk about it would stay steady but most of us just binge watch

To combat this from happening im still shocked they dont release ALL of their original content on a one episode per week basis. I know they did it with at least one show and then instead of binge watching a new season in 3 days, talking about it for a week, then it being gone and over with. You watched an episode a week and actually have some build up and it continues to go for 10 weeks
