I talk a lot of shite on here, but this stuff really pisses me off. What is there to gain from the destruction of historical sites?

There is nothing to gain. Keep in mind, these sites have existed in Muslim lands and have been preserved for centuries.

ISIS is offended by the sites so they must be destroyed so as not to hurt anyone's feelings. It's the American way, bruh. We should commend ISIS for coming into line with Western thinking on this. As a progressive society, we know and appreciate that the best way to demonstrate social tolerance is to be intolerant.
