Maybe they should have interviewed a few of the tens of thousands that sit in traffic on the substandard system every day.

Build 8 lanes per side, a loop, a new bridge and whatever else it takes.

My business will not be impacted and I am against a construction only plan. For our traffic woes to get better we need a more modern plan. We do not need to break out plans from the 70s. We need:

Better Public Transportation System
More businesses allowing employees to work from home some (or all) days
Car Pooling
Businesses that starting and ending at odd hours.

Plus we need construction.

Construction only will not work. It will be miserable during the construction and by the time it finishes population and demand will grow for the route.

BR just passed a large tax to fund public transportation.

Besides encourage car pooling what can govt. do? It's up to private citizens to car pool.

And private businesses can change their hours now and even elect to have people work at home. You don't need to pass a law to do that.

And yes construction is necessary.

The state can at least implement this. Most people don't need to be here. They can just go through the VPN and have designated meeting days.
