On Friday our group is getting dinner for the wife's birthday before heading out to Armory Square.

We'll head to campus around 6:30 - 7 Saturday morning.

Mark or CuseFan, where are the best lots for visitor tailgating/the best tailgating areas that are easily accessible to parking lots?
I want to be able to break down quickly before the game.

So I found this online, best option is to see if you can call the ticket office for a pass to the standart, fine, ray or stadium lot. I've seen people tailgating there. Other than those close lots, most of the other lots are inaccessible unless you have clearance (parking lots by the quad, in the middle of campus). I'm not sure if people tailgate on south campus in skytop because you have to take a shuttle to get to the dome.

I would look along Adams and Harrison Streets. These are streets that run east/west north of the Dome. Depending on kick off time...you might not be bothered for money until 3-4 hours before kickoff time.

The safest bet is to go up to Skytop...get there as early as you want. Set up and pay when they come around. RV's can park up there too. The downside is you have to take a shuttle to the Dome. It is bigger than just this lot my map points too...but if you arrive early I would park here. If the gate is unlocked...look where other folks are parking nearby and go there. Ask a Cuse fan. Remember Cuse fans normally start tailgating only 4 hours or so prior. Not sure how many hardcore will be there at 7am for a 3:30pm kick.

Parking Area

Don't bother asking SU about parking in the lots west of the stadium like CuseTiger suggested...they are all permit lots to donors.

Shuttle Bus Info...it is free
