I'm curious about the donations to the TAF equivalent of these high schools. My high school had booster clubs and sponsorships sales which probably netted then a few thousand a year for equipment and whatnot. I bet these schools have donations/sponsorship revenues in the several hundred thousands of dollar range.

you know why? because they ask for it and know that's what it takes to compete in Texas

if you have a similar size high school in another state, they won't even dream of having a video board, they'll keep the coach no matter how many games he loses, etc.
