This is the 3rd major publicly traded company to leave Baton Rouge. Shaw was acquired, Amedisys moved to Nashville, and now Albemarle to Charlotte. 2 of the top 10 public companies in Louisiana move HQs in a matter of months.

Only 2 public companies left in the Baton Rouge area now Lamar and H&E Equipment Services.

I also anticipate that Tidewater will officially make it official that they are relocating to Houston due to the O&G slowdown to save costs as well.

Slow your roll. Amedisys opened a satellite office in Nashville to attract more executive talent. Their corporate operations is still here in Baton Rouge.
